J. Davis Group LLC ("Kept," "we," "us") operates gotkept.com and provides lead-management and customer-communication software to local service businesses. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, business name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and billing details. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Information collected automatically: log data, device and browser type, IP address, pages visited, and similar usage data, gathered through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

We use it to provide and operate the software, set up and support your account, process payments, respond to inquiries, send service and account messages, and, where you have opted in, send appointment and promotional text messages. We also use aggregate, non-identifying data to improve the product.

SMS and text messaging

By providing your mobile number and checking the relevant consent box on our forms, you agree to receive text messages from Kept (J. Davis Group LLC) related to your inquiry, your account, appointments, and, if you opted in separately, promotional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with subcontractors that support our services, such as messaging and communication providers, solely to deliver the messages you requested. Text-message opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party for any other purpose.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, under contract and only as needed: our messaging and CRM platform provider, Stripe for payments, and analytics and email providers. We disclose information when required by law. We do not sell your personal information. The SMS consent limitation above applies regardless of any other sharing described here.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and measure site usage. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may stop working.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal, tax, and compliance obligations, then delete or de-identify it.

Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, request deletion, and request that we not sell your information (we do not sell it). Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
